The beginning

Ollie Bishop, with four other marketers, set up an agency with the vision of becoming more than just volume of work. The vision is to deliver intelligent digital, fuelled by an in-depth understanding and knowledge of how to deploy this insight through digital channels.

February 2015

We move into a new office, beanbags for chairs, tea from plastic cups and copper dial up internet. The first client lands within the first five days of trading and ROAST celebrate with the birth of a foam company mascot, Pam the pig.

May 2015

ROAST start to gain industry recognition; are regularly invited to join industry panels and to provide insights in the press. Our Strategy Director is appointed to the global advisory board of industry leading tool, Deep Crawl.

November 2015

One client has become 12. Agency growth skyrockets. We are now offering full service digital, and with 30+ staff have an office starting to burst at the seams.

March 2016

ROAST is shortlisted for Agency of the Year after just one year’s existence and Google choose ROAST to feature in a Google Partners case study, recognising our rapid growth.

April 2016

Fitzrovia, it’s time to say Goodbye. The team of Roasties, along with our giant yellow pig, Lord Porksmoor, move to a brand new office in North London. A celebration of rare stability in a setup so youthful.

July 2016

After over 18 months operating, ROAST hire a party barge to honour this journey and celebrate the growth we’ve experienced. We board where the concept of ROAST was born, in Maida Vale, and travel down Regents Canal, finishing at the location of our new offices.


Having outgrown yet another office, the ROAST team have now moved to Covent Garden... standing at a current head count of 60 plus, and hiring.
