ROAST are on the lookout for a talented junior front end developer to join our team of content marketing experts. You will be enthusiastic, always looking for new things to work on, and work well as part of a team. In return we will help you build out a CV containing exciting work for huge brands, and enjoy a working environment that has seen us ranked in the top 100 small businesses to work for in the UK 2 years running.

 

Personal skills

  • A passion for creating content for creative and digital media
  • An ability to work effectively both individually and collaboratively as part of a team
  • The ability to build and maintain positive relationships with customers
  • The initiative to report to the appropriate senior if an issue arises
  • A strong work ethic and commitment in order to meet the standards required

 

Essential Skills

  • Ability to translate pixel perfect designs to fully responsive templates / themes
  • Experience working with Sketch/ InVision / Zeplin
  • HTML5 / CSS3
  • JavaScript
  • General site hosting / domain administration

 

Additional Skills

  • Vue.js
  • Webpack
  • WordPress theming

The Basics about working at ROAST

Location: Berners Street, between Tottenham Court Road and Oxford Circus stations

Working hours: 9:00AM – 5:30pm

Holidays: 25 days, excluding bank holidays, plus Christmas and New Years off

Reporting line: Senior PR and Content Executive

Office environment: Open, hardworking but fun.
