TIPi Group celebrate 2,000 planted trees with Ecologi

ROAST • 03/12/2021

As an independent network of specialist agencies, we are driven by a shared passion to shape the future and this shared ambition incorporates our commitment to the environment. Therefore, in 2020, we partnered with Ecologi – a company rooted in giving people the chance to have a real impact through compensation for their carbon footprint, funding climate projects and tree planting.

At TIPi Group, our committees enable our staff to build a better place to work. TIPi Group’s CSR Committee consists of four pods – Charity & Philanthropy; Environment; Wellbeing, and Diversity & Inclusion, which are designed to hold the agency accountable to wider society.

Ecologi was brought to our attention through the annual company-wide entrepreneurial initiative TIPi Talkback; where staff members are given the opportunity to implement an innovative idea they have into the business.

One of the CSR’s four pods is the environment, so the proposal of Ecologi was a great fit within our initiatives.

We are very proud to be partnered with such an amazing company who have had such an astounding impact in such little time; having planted over 17 million trees, reducing over 445,000 verified tonnes of carbon emissions, and increasing their carbon impact 4x in a year.

This month, we are celebrating hitting 2,000 trees being planted!

Currently our forest is concentrated in Madagascar which will not only contribute to slowing climate change through removing carbon dioxide from the air and releasing oxygen into the atmosphere, but also supports local sustainable development through projects in line with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.

As a workforce we are consistently striving to discover more ways we can have a positive environmental and sustainable impact within and outside of our everyday jobs.

We are really looking forward to seeing how we can go on to make an even bigger impact in the next year! Take a look at our ever-growing forest here!
