Finance Assistant
As the Finance Assistant, you will sit with the Financial Controller and Group Finance Director and help with the day-to-day transactions of the business as well as be part of an exciting growing digital marketing agency.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Organic Performance Account Manager, responsibilities could include:
- Daily bank reconciliations.
- Sort incoming post and monitor the Finance inbox, transacting and responding to queries as necessary.
- Raising and sending Client invoices
- Posting cash received from clients
- Raising bank payments /Weekly payment run
- Reconciliation of monthly expenses and credit card spends to ensure spend is receipted and approved.
- Timesheets administration including supporting the Financial Controller with the management of timesheet system, chasing timesheets and generating reports
- Assisting Receptionist with reception cover and office duties when required
- Any other ad-hoc duties that arise
Skills & Experience
We are ideally seeking an enthusiastic candidate with a minimum 5 GCSEs with grade C or above for English and Maths, or 3 A levels or equivalent. No prior experience necessary but a hard-working attitude and willingness to learn is a must.
