ROAST is looking for an Organic Performance Director (SEO Director) to lead and grow our Organic Performance offering across the US market.

Reporting to the USA Managing Partner and working closely with the UK Head of Organic Performance, you will lead SEO strategy, client performance, team growth and new business development. This is a senior leadership role responsible for scaling our enterprise SEO, content and technical SEO capabilities while ensuring strong commercial performance.

Key Responsibilities

SEO Strategy & Client Leadership

  • Lead SEO and Organic Performance strategy across key enterprise client accounts

  • Ensure campaigns deliver measurable organic growth and performance improvements

  • Build strong relationships with senior client stakeholders

  • Oversee account strategy, budgets and resource planning

Department Leadership

  • Grow and develop ROAST’s SEO and Organic Performance offering in the US

  • Recruit, mentor and manage a high-performing SEO team

  • Improve processes, frameworks and best practices across the department

Commercial Growth & New Business

  • Lead SEO strategy within new business pitches

  • Create commercials, forecasts and resourcing plans

  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell digital marketing services to existing clients

Innovation & Industry Leadership

  • Evaluate and implement new SEO tools, technologies and automation

  • Contribute to thought leadership including blogs, whitepapers and industry events

  • Maintain strong relationships with technology partners and suppliers

 

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Extensive experience in SEO strategy and Organic Performance

  • Strong knowledge of technical SEO, content SEO and enterprise SEO

  • Proven experience leading client strategy and digital marketing teams

  • Experience contributing to new business pitches and commercial growth

  • Strong analytical and data skills

Desirable

  • Experience working with international teams

  • Advanced Excel or data analysis skills

  • Additional language skills

Location: Brooklyn, NY

Annual Leave: 20 days, increasing with length of service, plus Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve off
