We’re thrilled to share that our own John Campbell, Head of Innovation & AI, has been named in the PMW Powerlist 2026, for the second year running.
John is busy turning the black box of artificial intelligence into a practical toolkit for the modern marketer. He brings together years of hands-on industry experience with the cutting edge of machine learning. This recognition reflects the work he has done to make AI genuinely useful for the brands we partner with, rather than something that is only talked about.
Building AI, not just advising on it
John’s approach is defined by one idea: productisation. Plenty of people advise on AI. John builds it.
He is the architect of ROASTWriter, a proprietary content engine that began life as an internal tool. Under John’s leadership it has evolved into a profitable SaaS offering, now used by global clients.
Not content with simply generating content, John also pioneered the ChatGPT Tracker. This first-of-its-kind tool monitors brand visibility within AI-driven search results. As more people turn to generative search for answers, brands can now see exactly how they are surfaced in this new era of search.
The PMW Powerlist 2026 judges praised John’s ROASTWriter and ChatGPT Tracker as a “clear AI innovation case, with the tool productised into a SaaS offer and used across global clients.”
