Introduction

Transparency. Value. Partnership. Three important factors in every agency-client relationship.

Procurement is under pressure to prove value. Marketing is under pressure to prove impact. Agencies are expected to deliver both, while budgets tighten and AI evolves the ways of working keep shifting beneath them.

Session Overview

Join ROAST for an honest conversation between agencies and procurement. Our CEO & Founder Oliver Bishop is joined on the panel by Tina Fegent (FCIPS), Ryan Kangisser, Chief Strategy Officer at MediaSense and Rachael Lynch, Procurement Marketing Manager, The AA.

This is your opportunity to ask the questions agencies don’t always want you to ask.

Hear from our ROAST Head of Innovation & AI, John Campbell, on ‘From Experimentation to Impact: AI Agency Adoption’.

From Experimentation to Impact: AI Agency Adoption

AI is fundamentally changing how digital agencies operate, from improving productivity to becoming embedded in agency workflows, to powering entirely new AI-enabled services. As agencies increasingly combine AI with client data, they can deliver more sophisticated intelligence, insights and outcomes. But this raises an important question: ‘How should clients pay for AI-enabled agency services?’ Should AI simply be absorbed into existing fees, reflected in the overall service value, or charged through usage-based models such as credits?

This talk explores how AI systems are being set up in agencies, what good looks like and what elements should be replicated or integrated with in-house AI. AI is challenging traditional resource-based pricing and asks agencies and procurement teams to rethink how they measure cost, capability and value in the future.

The questions we are putting on the table:

  • How do agencies evolve with AI but continue to keep transparency, human-value and quality assurance?
  • What should you be asking your agency partners that you are not asking now?
  • Best price or best return: what happens when the two of you are pulling in different directions and nobody says so?
  • Where does quality get checked, and by whom?

Who should attend?

Marketing and procurement leaders responsible for agency relationships, agency selection or commercial oversight of marketing spend and agency leaders who want to understand what’s actually being asked on the other side of the table.
