ROAST takes SXSW
SXSW took place in London for the first time, and ROAST were not going to miss out. As partners of the first London edition, with a buzzing hub of culture, creativity and cutting-edge conversation, ROAST were in the midst of it all!
It was an unforgettable week, with inspiration, innovation and our mini-ROAST mascots (did you grab one?). They may be playful branding, but we hope that they, like us, leave a lasting impression.
So, what did our team think of exhibiting at SXSW London? We caught up with our Head of Innovation, John Campbell and Managing Partner, Phil Burgess.
“Visiting SXSW London was a chance to step out of the day-to-day and immerse myself in future-facing ideas across tech, music and film. For myself, working at the intersection of digital marketing and innovation, it was interesting to chat with people from different verticals, with many discussions being around the impact that AI is having on their roles and businesses. For instance, how AI is being used in the creative process, to the revolution of how coding and digital production creation is being disrupted.”
John Campbell, Head of Innovation
“SXSW London has been brilliant for ROAST and for me personally. I’ve always wanted to go to Austin for it, but never had the time (or budget!). Seeing East London buzzing with people from across technology, film, and music was really exciting and a great profile-raising opportunity for ROAST with the creative community. Met lots of cool people, had some interesting conversations and came away with lots to think about and loads to follow up on.”
