We are currently working with Green Small Business to establish a clear sustainability baseline and define our long-term environmental and social impact goals. This collaboration will help us identify key areas for improvement, ensure alignment with best practices, and create realistic and measurable sustainability targets tailored to our operations. By partnering with Green Small Business, we aim to build a string foundation for continuous improvement and transparent reporting.
The targets outlines below are currently in place as part of our ongoing commitment to sustainability. However, they are subject to review and may be amended based on the insights and recommendations that emerge from our upcoming target-setting workshop with Green Small Business. This collaborative process will ensure our goals are both ambitious and achievable, and aligned with our baseline data and strategic priorities.
Environment Targets:
- Reduce Waste to Landfill: Reduce office waste to landfill by 25-50% within 2 years.
- Sustainable Procurement: Source 80% of supplies from local or sustainable vendors within 3 years.
- Green IT Practices: Optimise IT systems for energy efficiency and extend the lifecycle of devices through repair or reuse.
Social & Community Targets:
- Diversity & Inclusion: Ensure workforce diversity metrics meet or exceed industry benchmarks.
- Employee Engagement: Achieve over 80% satisfaction on employee sustainability engagement surveys.
- Community Involvement: Engage with the local community by increasing volunteering hours by 50% within 2 years.
Governance & Leadership Targets:
- Sustainability Reporting: Publish sustainability impact reports annually.
- Policy Development: Finalise our sustainability policy within 6 months.
- Leadership & Training: Train 100% of our leadership team on ESG principles within 1 year.
- Innovation & Participation: Host internal workshops annually to encourage staff ideas for sustainability improvements with implementation support.
