The Drum Agency Business awards took place last night in Grosvenor Square, London, where TIPi Group took home, not one, but two award wins for Digital Agency of the Year and for our TIPi Academy graduate scheme.
The TIPi Academy is a completely free two-week educational course in which our employees teach a group of a dozen young people about digital marketing. It’s not an internship, it’s not a grad scheme – it’s a talent-first educational programme that empowers potential recruits by giving them the power of choice. Taking an educational rather than a recruitment focus allows us to source better trained, more engaged talent who we have already got to know over a two-week period.
Our key goal this year has been growth. However, we wanted to achieve this without sacrificing the culture that we had worked so hard to foster; and the solid and trusted relationships built with clients – as this is what had fuelled our growth and reputation in the marketplace.
As a company close to celebrating our fifth birthday, we’re extremely proud to have won two awards that recognise us moving from the position of challenger start up, to established player in the digital market.
