TIPi Group Wellness Week is launched for another year!

The World Health Organisation defines Mental Wellbeing as:

“The ability to cope with the day to day stresses of life, work productivity, interact positively with others and realise our own potential”

It can seem like these are things that many people ‘just get on with’, difficult to see and not as easy to treat as a broken arm. However, as the statistics show, at least one in six workers experience common Mental Health problems, including anxiety and depression. Demonstrating the importance of tackling Mental Health alongside Physical Health, all contributing to the general wellness of our workforce.
At TIPi Group we understand that Health, both Mental and Physical, have a huge impact on any business, and as an independent we have it within our power to enable every member of the team to be as healthy as possible.
Our benefits pack demonstrates the ways in which we approach this; from gym discounts and cycle scheme to our softball team we encourage our staff to be active. Our mentorship scheme, as well as Bupa ‘Healthy Minds’ Employee Assistance Programme, ensures there is always someone to listen, both internally and externally. We also understand how important social inclusion is for individuals to feel valued at work, from house events to our legendary company holidays, we have this covered.

We’re proud of the company culture that we have created at TIPi Group, and the environment which has been shaped for, and by, our staff. From building social relationships amongst our staff, to ensuring everyone feels valued. Even more so, we’re proud of the recognition these achievements have received – this year we’ve been named as one of the Sunday Times’ Best Small Companies to Work For, and have also been named as one of The 75 Best Companies to Work for in London. This goes hand in hand with the high levels of staff satisfaction and retention that we are proud to have developed, and the friendships that have been forged within and across our four agencies.

Over the next week we will be running a Workplace Wellness campaign, as part of our constant efforts to break down the stigma surrounding Mental Health and to ensure that we too, stay on top of our game ensuring the best and safest environment for our staff.
From data and insights driven content to internal change agents who are working to raise awareness, we hope that our campaign will continue to open the dialogue around Workplace Wellness and Mental Wellbeing, and to spark conversations between employees, clients and other agencies.
Keep your eyes peeled for our Teeps, who will be doing the TIPi Trudge this Thursday, to remind ourselves that its important to peel away from our desks, get some fresh air, connect with our colleagues, and take notice[1] of our surroundings.
You can follow the campaign across our social channels using #Workplacewellness
